This is an interesting point. If we compare AB in 2017 and GH in 2023 as their first full seasons in the MLB here's what we find. I used BBref. Feel free to look at Fangraphs if you want.

AB 2017. Age 23 season

.284/.352/.475 for an OPS+ = 125; 39 2Bs/5 3Bs/19 Hr for an oWAR = 4.3

132 games at SS, 30 at 3B, 4 at 2B and 2 at DH for a dWAR= 0.2

ALRoY was Aaron Judge, AL pennant Houston, World Series champs = Astros, WS MVP= George Springer

GH 2023. Age 22 season

.255/.325/.489 for an OPS+ = 125; 29 2Bs/ 9 (damn!) 3Bs/ 28 Hrs for an oWAR= 4.8

83 games at SS, 84 games at 3B and 11 games at DH for a dWAR= 2.1

AL RoY = ?  AL pennant = Texas, WS champ= Texas, WS MVP= Seager

I'm hoping GH is a WS champ at age 23.

Just for fun let's look at another LH hitting SS who debuted at age 22. Corey Seager in 2015.
