Shoulder injuries scare me, but if that significantly lowers his cost, I'd definitely risk it.

Never mind...I just read his Wikipedia entry.   So, it looks as if he's out for most of the 2024 season.    Sounds like a Bautista-esque contract.

Woodruff probably won’t sign until the first day of ST, only because that’s the first day teams can put a player on the 60 day IL. 

Teams would be essentially just paying him for 2025 but as a two year deal. So what is his 2025 season worth?  Given the shoulder injury concerns, and pitch limits, but also a contract year. 

2y/$26 million?  Burnes with an assist.
