I think we need to be careful about conflating BABIP and luck.  All batted balls are not created equal.  Not even all balls with the same EV and launch angle are equal.

Every win is important. In a 162 game season, one single win can make a big difference in a teams playoff position.

 

How am I trying to argue something? I asked you a serious question. Do you honestly think 18 ABs is a big enough sample to say that his batting average means anything at all? I figured you were joking, it's apparent you weren't now. It's fine, I was wondering if you really believed what you wrote, it appears you do, which is also fine by me.

My guess is you run that same lineup out as yesterday but switch Rutchman with McCann. With so many games coming up a full day off for Adley wouldn’t hurt.

Adley just had a full day off the game Burnes started. I assume he will be DH’ing today.

I could see Cowser getting a day off.

My guess is that Cedric is in and Cowser gets a mental health day.  Could also see Urias at 3B and Westburg at 2B.
