Yeah, a lot of people are overlooking the MVP part of this rule.   Not relevant to Holliday, but a top 3 CY finish in the pre-Arb years also earns a pick if the player earned a full year of service as a rookie.

So a question. If Adley was top 2 and earned his full year of service, would he not warrant a pick if he was MVP this year?

Pretty obvious that Holliday needs work on pop-ups into the outfield. I am happy he is up,but the idea that they were keeping him down when it’s obvious he should be playing is being proven wrong.

He ain't ready.  Certainly not at second base and not in the batter's box, either.  Looks like he needs a full season in AAA.

Based on this small sample size of your opinions, you ain't ready to watch a full season of MLB. Maybe try amateur synchronized swimming?

Maybe three years like Norby.

A typical minor league season is 140 games.   Conor Norby has played 158 AAA games.  Sure, he’s been there parts of 3 seasons.

Holliday does look a little overwhelmed but has had some good AB’s with deep counts and had some good takes.   I wish he’d put a little more mustard on some of those “routine” throws to 1B.
