He'll be interested in staying if we offer more than other teams do (in both money and years).

Honestly that's about it.

And it's very debatable whether we even SHOULD offer the type of long term deal that it would take.

Living arrangements aren't a factor.   I think a lot of players live in luxury apartments in places like Harbor East.
