Gunnar has got to get back to taking balls on the outside corner the other way.  He’s trying to pull everything with an upward launch angle and he’s just topping off anything on the outside portion of the plate.  The approach is bad.

Disappointing but can’t say it’s surprising. Adley has an OPS under .630 against RHP’s. He needs to move down at this point against righties if he’s going to hit that poorly and continue to chase/not walk.

So, is it the hitting coaches telling them to just swing at everything? I just don’t understand. Last year they were working the count and getting walks. I’m just confused.

You know, if they just go ahead and blow up the team now they will get a HUGE haul in prospects that will guarantee the O's have the top farm system for the next three years.

The longer they wait the more their current players will get exposed and the lower the return will be.
