What a weird deal for Chicago. Can't believe no one else topped that offer. Maybe the general consensus among FOs around the league is that Fedde is much closer to smoke and mirrors than a low-end TOR than us armchair GMs figured.

Ugh, sent a reply and it was wiped out. 

In essence this says more about the inexperienced Chris Getz and the incompetent ChiSox franchise. If GMs knew Fedde was available for nearly free they would have been all over it. The Cardinals made out like bandits.
