My 83-year-old father and I are watching the game.  I asked his opinion about this poll and we both picked Palmer.  Had Frank 2nd.  Any of the players would be welcome additions, naturally.

Palmer, with Frank Robinson a close second. With our pitchers dropping like flies, to have Palmer's production on this team, it would be golden with a power hitting outfielder next.

You can never have too much pitching, take Palmer.  Frank is a close second, one of the most competitive players ever and taught the Orioles how to win.  With an inconsistent outfield, really can't go wrong with either of them.

Tough choice between Frank and Palmer.  But with Frank, this offense would be so ridiculous anybody could pitch and get wins.

I had to choose Palmer too. Check out his 1969 through 1978 seasons. I'd take that over any pitcher during that 10 year period. 

192-101 with a 2.52 ERA, including 3 Cy Young Awards.

Seaver was 187-102, 2.52 that same window.  So, perhaps the slightest of edges to Jimbo for the period you picked.

I think the coolest thing about the Jim Palmer Baseball Reference page is this... a whole career with one team.

Went with Frank Robinson. With him on the team the lineup in the playoffs can cover a guy or two having a bad series (like last year).

Seaver got to pitch to the Pitcher.  I am giving the edge to Palmer.
