Vespi, Akin, Perez, Coloumbe, and Irvin, all will not have an option next year. Krook does. Zimmerman, and Tucker Davidson, will not have options next year as well. 

So it looks like Krook will be in the Vespi role next year. 

I would not be surprised to see Vespi involved in a deadline deal as an extra piece. He’s not officially a spare part. Heckuva a season for him. He deserves to be some team’s 2nd lefty in the pen. 

I think Krook has a much higher chance of being DFA'd than he does of contributing to the team next year. Just my opinion.

I think 105.7 was wrong. When he got sent back down after being the 27th man, that didn't count as one of the five options. Here is what Roch wrote today:

"Vespi was optioned for a fourth time. The Orioles can do it one more time before reaching the maximum and having to pass him through waivers."
