That's been there offense for a long time now. They tend to get runs in bunches but stink otherwise.

Well outside of Verlander, their starters have pretty much been healthy. Their big bats carry them, Tucker, Altuve, Bregman, Alvarez. Diaz. 
 

But put them in the AL East, they're 7 games back.

Seriously, how do we even have three runs?  We can expect the bullpen as is to make mistakes, but how do you expect win when most of your best hitters are basically still slumping?

Two games ago the same better Abreu put up stats that are probably worse than any Orioles reliever since the Dave Trembley days: 5 hits, 5 earned runs, zero Ks in one-third of an inning.

When the home runs are flying it's usually a good night, but this team absolutely struggles to put together rallies by stringing hits and walks together without the aid of the long ball.

They are beat up. No Westy and now Mountscastle down vs LHP.
