Now they have this many coaches and the team can't hit, has poor fielding and poor fundamentals. 

Two hitting coaches and an offensive strategy coach and the Orioles hitters struggle to not get shutout these days.

Slater was a good pick-up in several respects. It should be mentioned that he's done a lot better than Hays has for the Phillies. Compare, for example, his .343 OBP to the fact that Hays has drawn absolutely ZERO walks in 67 ABs since the trade (.275 OBP)!
