The Orioles went 4-2 against the Royals, but all in April. 

By winning sweeping the Twins, the Orioles ended up September at 13-12. KC went 11-14.

The Orioles must win this series or this season will be a failure. With everyone back, but Grayson and Mateo, there are no excuses.

I'm just glad we skip Skubal.  In a 3 game series losing the first game is fatal.

The Royals record this season was 74-75 when not playing the White Sox. This is a mediocre team and agreed it will be a disappointing season if the Orioles can't take care of business in the the wildcard.

100%. This is a real mediocre team that the will need to come into Camden Yards against a rested Orioles team that has been playing well the last week of the season. 

No excuses. This shouldn't even go 3 games, but of course this is baseball, so you never no. Time for Burnes and Eflin to take care of business and for the Orioles offense to take care of it as well!

I still wear around my 2014 ALDS hat (Division Champs). It's my preferred O's hat. But it's sweaty, well-worn, and it wants a rest. It wants to be carefully cleaned and preserved, and hung up on a nail in the wall in the basement den.

I'll be able to hang it up if we win the ALDS this year. I'm hoping for more, but I'll update it to a 2024 ALDS Champs hat as soon as they're available. So come on, beat KC, and beat the MFYs.
