Masterson is a darn good pitcher. He threw 88 innings last season to the tune of a 3.16 ERA. If we're shut down by him today, it would be nothing to be ashamed of IMO.

Just watching that at bat go from 1-2 to 3-2 I knew nothing good could come from it, and I was just hoping it would only be a walk. Then Hendrickson throws that fastball straight over the plate and Varitek crushes it.
