MLB Gamecast shows it right on the inside corner of the strike zone. Close, but a strike and definitely to close to take with the winning run on second and 2 strikes on the batter.

It's really hard to say. The graphic they show on TV indicates where it hit the mitt. Often, that's different than where it crossed the plate. It's clear that the C caught it lower than the strike zone. On replay, it looks like it was sinking and *may* have been a strike. There's really no way I can tell for sure. The only thing the batter can do there is be careful and go by what the ump has been calling all day. I just got here, so I'm not sure how he's been calling it all day.
