Considering what the Sox did with Cease, I wouldn’t want any parts of negotiating with them. Add to that, Getz might be empowered by what he got for Cease. Crochet is risky and probably not even a playoff option as a SP. There’s too many good rental options available currently in Scherzer, Kikuchi, and Severino. -

Fair enough, but it "feels" like he has struggled getting the third out. He'll get one or two, seem to miss wildly for a batter or two, and then get it together. Maybe that's not exactly the way each time, but when he leads with a ball to a batter, I start to feel the need a of cigarette. -
Makes sense. He might be the biggest ‘buzz-level’ star playing in this game even if Seager were to somehow play. -

Norby may end up being a utility player given his limitations at 2b. Beavers may be ready right when Mullins is leaving, opening up a spot in LF with Cowser moving to CF. So I think there is room for both of them after this year. I'm all for moving Stowers and Norby, if a team values him like a starting positional player in trade. I think we'd be selling low on Beavers and would prefer we keep him another year to see how he progresses.
