So, he was rolling along and then played about 1/3 of a season in 2009 and didn't play in 2010.

Obviously an injury.

If he is healthy, he is a fantastic buy low oppurtunity.

I don't know about "rolling along", I don't believe he was injured in 2008. I agree he's a good buy low candidate.

My bad, you are right...I glossed over 2008 for some reason. I agree, that was poor.

But even in 2008, he still walked 76 times. I would bet his BABIP was pretty low.

This is the first small sign that DD will want OBP improved in the organization.

Much rather have him on the team then going out and signing some kind of a player like Jamey Carroll.

Yep.

If I remember correctly he had quite a few injury issues that season. I was advocating trading Roberts to SD for a package including him back in 2007.

I like Antonelli, it's a good no-risk signing, maybe we hit, maybe we don't but it's better than spending $70-100m to find out.
