And with that, Jeter's little weird mouth just turned up at the corners, almost imperceptibly. He knows now that the game is over - he knew all along, really. But he just relaxed that last little bit, and started imagining plowing his hot girlfriend later tonight, with another Yankee victory under his belt. Meanwhile, the whole Orioles team just relaxed a little, knowing that they "put up a good fight" and can now lose peacefully, according to "The Script."

And I... I just died a little bit inside. Goodnight. I hope I wake up to shocking news that we pulled this out.

I love Buck Showalter, I really do. One of my the best managers in baseball IMO, but why wouldn't he call the bunt there. That should really show some unorthodox play and maybe next time the 3B creeps up and gets us a base hit.

Frustrating. I would like to see Buck put down the bunt sign more.
