Source: Carl Crawford is planning to ask the #RedSox to allow him to have Tommy John surgery next week.

If I was a fan or teammate I would rather he tough it out. Bit surprised the team hasn't shut him down already.

I can see his view of course, get a head-start on rehab and away from the atmosphere.

  I'll give you Baumann in your point. But Ramirez has hit a batter in every one of his outings and the amouny of wild pitches are intolerable. I see no reason to worry about the departures of Ramirez or Heasley. Even Nick Vespi is capable of better.

  I like that they’re not wearing black pants. Haven’t looked through the thread to see if anyone figures that will change the bad luck stigma of the city connect unis since their emergence. I just like the white pants, a much better look.
