This could be huge for his development. You can see he believes in himself and thats not always been the case; as we all know. In the playoffs, vs Josh Hamilton, on the road, do or die, man on 2nd, 3 fastballs and a stroll. Just another great story in a season of many.

It was pretty awesome. He gave him one pitch to hit, and he swung right through it. Never had a chance.

We are really gonna need him this next series. He is going to be on the hill for some crucial ABs no doubt. Granderson and Cano have hit him pretty hard over the years, but he's pitching great right now. I would love to see him rise to the challenge.

It's not like he threw it right down Main. One of the best things about him is his ability to locate. That was a great sequence of pitches to Hamilton but they were precise with good velocity.

He said he wasn't doing anything differently, but you can see it. You touched on this a while back and I noted I had gone back and looked at his delivery from earlier in the season and you can see the difference. If he moves back into the rotation there's no reason he can't have this kind of success.

I've been saying it all year, but Rick Peterson is a friggin' genius. He figured out Tillman and now fixed Matusz. Spending time with those guys down in Norfolk, you can directly see an impact when they came back up to the majors.

Time to give Ferreira and Peterson a major bonus.
