That's what happens when you try to pull an outside slider. Hardy really is a dead pull hitter who looks middle in. Why any pitcher would pitch him anything but away is beyond me.

Their fans at Camden Yards were pretty quiet Monday night too. Really I've said it before but the fierceness of Yankee fans is overrated. These are fans that couldn't even sell out when Maris broke Ruth's record. But as OFFNY pointed out to me, many of them were rooting against him that year.
