Michael Morse "almost certain" to join the Orioles (Update: Acquired for Avery))

Since others have called you a troll and for the most part I've taken up for you, but do you really mean this or are your trying to use hyperbole for effect?

We traded away a AAA outfielder who has the upside of a 5th outfielder up down guy for a guy who may be able to get hot and help this team down the stretch. The Orioles were going to DFA Avery off the 40-man roster this winter anyways.

Either you are giant troll, or you really are haivn g ahrd time grasping that the GM is trying to find guys that will help this team and besides Delmonico, I haven't seen a guy go yet that I was sorry to see go for the "rentals". Even in Delmonico, we're talking about a guy who has struggled to hit for average and has no defensive position and has been downright awful since about late May this year.

Kinda bummed about giving up the draft pick for Norris. Then again you are higher on Norris then I am.

Whatever... he made it to AAA so he had some skills..

The real problem is a line up that has Markakis, Wieters and Morse in it. If his OPS with the Orioles is >.625 I'll eat my hat.

He has skills. But Morse, who OPS'ed .910 in the majors, does not. Right?

Considering 0 pitching prospects have turned out this year, Hammel imploded, and we had to trade for two pitchers, I'd say Rodriguez was definitely too high of a price. Pretty disappointed that you haven't learned much in your vacation from OH. Oh well.

I don't think there is a vacation long enough to cure his way of looking at things.

Wow, DD loses another trade.

The only speed and best defensive OF'er in our system for 30 games of a .150 hitter.

LJ Hoes would have been a superior option... except we already gave him away.

The Red Sox get Peavy for a defensive specialist SS... and we give away Delmonico, Arietta, Strop, and now Avery for a bunch of worthless way too late rentals.

Maybe nothing we traded comes back to haunt us... but they could have been trade for something of value... and not Mike (PED abuser) Morse.

Be funny if he fails a test and gets suspended for the final 30 days.

Sure are bringing in a lot of character guys lately (KRod, Morse)

Wow, you're really not capable of posting rationally are you? Let's see, in one post you:

1) Wildly exaggerate Morse's poor season

2) Focus on Avery's skills while completely ignoring his inability to translate any of them to the baseball field

3) Forgot to mention that Avery's career minor league OPS is lower than Morse's MLB OPS in a year where he's apparently hitting .150

4) Act like Iglesias is a big fat zero (along with the other pieces the Sox gave up as part of a three team deal)

5) Imply that the pieces the O's gave up are worth much of anything. Delmonico is the only one who can't be described as "failed."

6) Then throw around a bunch of PED abuse crap that has no place anywhere

Didn't your mom ever tell you to count to 10 before posting? This might be in the running for 10 Worst Posts in OH History.

Calling Xavier Avery a AAAA caliber player would be a generous assessment.

No arm, no power, bad baserunner, bad OF. But he was fast!

Yeah, a AAAA player, by definition is a guy who has had a lot of success at AAA. Avery (while young for the league) has not had much success at all there.
