Just to add to this, only 13 players on the Orioles' 40-man roster were drafted or signed originally with them:

Britton

Chen

Gausman

Matusz

Ohlman

Wieters

Machado

Schoop

Markakis

Reimold

Urrutia

And it's hard to count Chen or Urrutia as players the Orioles "developed."

We do have some players that we have gone from our minor league system to other minor league teams.

Still, not a good track record, but, hopefully one that is being improved on, and improvement doesn't happen overnight.
