I love Gausman's stuff. I love his demeanor and the way he carries himself.

That being said, he reminds me a lot of Tommy Hunter. I hope that I'm wrong, but I just don't see him being any more than a bullpen guy. There's nothing wrong with that.

Why can't this orgnization develop good young pitchers?? I know its a overreaction but man, it's frustrating to see other teams have young dominant pitching. Will we ever get one again?

Gausman hasn't been developed. He was rushed last season and has been on a pitch count for our imaginary playoff push this season. I don't see the point of lamenting development relative to other clubs when we simply treat the kid in a goofy fashion.

Gausman is a thrower at the moment right now because he can't locate. His secondary location in particular is very poor. And to some degree you born with it or not. It's like Shaq was a horrible Free Throw shooter, it was what it was throughout his career. Location is similar, you can't just magically figure out how to locate. So to the bullpen.
