J.P. Howell was in the same boat as Davis, re: having a TUE denied. Here's what he said:?If you have a TUE, you have to take it,? he said. ?And if you do not take it, and there?s a low amount, that means you?re using it only when you want it ? not when you need it. They monitor how you take it, how much is in your system. The milligram amount, if it?s above or below what?s expected on your prescription, that?s considered a fail. That?s how I understand the rule." http://www.dailynews.com/sports/20140912/dodgers-jp-howell-is-familiar-with-baseballs-rules-for-prescription-drug-use?template=printart

Who is Steve Howell? The Dodgers have a pitcher who goes by JP.

I did find this guy though.

Maybe he can help Manny when he retires.

I have no idea what this means.

I have no idea what this means.

Here's the full context of the quote:

"We all have made mistakes and none of us would like to have our whole lives judged by our worst decision," Showalter said. "Everybody's got a no button and a yes button. There's always that fight waging on each shoulder, and who wins? ... And we've all had that yes button win out sometimes; Chris' no button wasn't working real good that day."

The question is why did he take the Adderall? He had it in TEX when he was ineffective. He didn't have it in B'more when he was. Why did he go back to it, after struggling in 2014?

Was he off it last year? I missed the details of when he was on and when he was off. That's puzzling if true.

The people that are most critical about the use of others turn out to be usually the ones doing it. Time and time again this holds true.

Maybe he was at the Kentucky Derby with Wes:)

This is what I said in the offseason, and it (shockingly) wasn't well received here...my buddy owes me a steak dinner though, so at least I've got that going for me...

This would sting a lot worse if he had been worth a darn this year, but to be honest, Pearce has been a much more valuable player at first...

I'm not sure the exact order of emotions during a crisis, but I'm fairly sure I have gone through them.

On Friday I was in denial, hoping beyond hope that it was the National League's Kris Davis that did it, not our guy.

As I read the reports and saw that it was our very own Crush, I was angry! I called him a cheater and didn't want to hear any more about why, when, how, etc. He broke a rule and burned his team.

By Friday night, after sweeping the double header from the hated Yanks, I accepted what he did and was no longer angry. He did it, I wasn't happy about it, but, as my wife says, "it is what it is." Time to move on.

Now today, 3 days later, I have forgiven him. I still think he's a nice guy. I still thinks he is a good person. I truly believe he feels bad and is remorseful for what he did. He didn't make excuses, he owned up, apologized, and took his medicine (so to speak.) I forgive you big guy, and I want you to have an Orioles World Series ring in about 2 months from now!
