So far, we won a game in which our starting pitcher had a bad game (Chen), and lost a game in which our starting pitcher pitched pretty well (Miguel Gonzalez, 1 run in 5.67 innings pitched.)

Today was a badly pitched game by our starter.

So our record of 2-2 overall (assuming that we lose this game) coincides with the number of well-pitched or badly-pitched games that we have had so far.

If Garcia's only a 93 to 95 guy, maybe we were better off keeping the other gentleman?

I don't see how you can discredit that type of velocity. That 93-95 looks easy.. I'm willing to bet he can turn it up when he wants

24 ERA. Ouch. :eektf:

Tillman has an ERA of 1.35, and Gonzalez has an ERA of 1.59.

Chen has an ERA of 6.23, and Norris has an ERA of 24.00

We're a team of extremes in regard to our starting pitching.

I'm not discrediting, I'm just asking. He was advertised as a 98 mile-per-hour thrower, which we have not seen since he put on an Oriole uniform. We were told that Buck wanted him to throttle down in spring training, but spring training is over. I'm certainly not advocating letting him go after such few outings

It's what good hitters do. The Orioles are trying to pull everything.

I know. That's what Orioles hitters usually do, and it drives me crazy. Hit the ball where it's pitched. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

Davis hit it hard to the opposite field, which is good to see. Great catch save the possible home run.
