We got a year and-a-half out of Sherrill as a respectable closer after obtaining him in the Erik Bedard trade.

I was so proud of Georgie Boy in the 2008 All-Star game, when he came in with the bases loaded and shut down the National League for 2.33 innings of that marathon game.

He just missed getting the MVP.

I also remember whenever I would go to Oriole Park, there would be that "SHERRILL'S STOPPER'S" sign hanging from the upper deck.

I really liked George...I remember after he was traded a reporter asked something the likes of "I bet you're glad to be away from those losers" to which George replied "Those losers are my friends so that will be enough of that"
