MLBTR projects the top 5. Blash is #1, going to the Phillies.

OF/1B intensive and the list looks intriguing. Of note this list is only for the Phillies, so it looks like they're looking in that area like the Orioles would.

The team can certainly afford to keep one of these guys on the 25-man as constructed as a backup OF or OF/1B. Heck, he might even start.

Canha was more than decent last year. DeShields worked out well. Position players can succeed and it looks like the Orioles need to go that direction.

I would not be surprised to see the O's trade up for better position, as they did last year.

If they do that to take Blash he might be one of the few options I can think of who might be a legitimate prospect. With the Orioles history, I could see him starting in RF this year if he can cut down on the SO.

Who comes off the #Orioles 40 man roster today so they can participate in tomorrow's Rule 5 Draft?? Orioles Hangout (@OriolesHangout) December 9, 2015

Nolan Reimold? He will go unclaimed with that salary. Similar to what they did with Pearce a few years ago.

What salary?

I know he agreed to terms but don't recall seeing a figure.

I don't figure he will be making more then a mil or so this year.

Wouldn't the Os be committed to anything over the minimum. Either way I think it's Lake who is simply not a good baseball player
