Either that or you put LH in for defense if you want to save Brian for a pinch hitting appearance. No way you leave him out there late in a tight game.

BTW Moore gets an easy grounder hit right at him. He made the play but he waited for it to come to him instead of charging at all. Didn't really look smooth or comfortable.

Oh come on now, I've seen Roberts handle that exact same play the exact same way countless times.

Agree. I think Huff's speed is underrated. He has 15 career triples, 5 last year. Once he gets going he moves pretty well for a big guy.

Yeah his speed surprised me last year. His triple in cycle game was impressive

Even if Brian gets a little nonchalant and hangs back on a ball because it's an easy play, he looks a lot smoother than that. Maybe it was just nerves but Moore definitely didn't look 100% comfortable making that play.
