I would have started Flaherty over Schoop at second base and Bourn in right field over Trumbo just to add their left handed bats. May be more in line with "Small Ball" but the "Homer Ball" has not worked the last four games.

Buck never benches his starters, period. Hot or cold, in sickness or in health, he will run each and every one of them into the ground, even to the point of starting Wieters for day games after night games. He has it in his mind that Davis is a starter, not a platoon player, so he is starting.

Better have Worley or Wilson ready to go at a moment's notice. These games are too big to mess around with guys who are not 100%. Miley is not even that great when he is 100%.
