I did notice it. His foot slid into the front of the bag and popped up into Schoop's foot who was standing right on the bag. Neither Palmer or Hunter mentioned it at all, either.

It wasn't accidental.

That one looked more obvious than the almost triple play against the Orioles last night. That they looked at for 10 minutes.

It did stick out more for sure, but it happened right on top of the bag. He slid into the base, what are you going to do? At the very least, Hunter would have gone berserk if it was anything to worry about.

Are you sure about that? How many times have we seen guys slide into second base and have their leading foot pop up off the front of the bag during the slide? That's why you hold the tag. It happens all the time, literally.

Those weak hits by Abreu and Sands are unlucky, but hitting guys and putting others on via walk is NOT unlucky. Sad to think how much more of Ubaldo we'll have to endure.
