Kevin can shake him off and take control to throw what he wants to throw, but he didn't. He doesn't seem comfortable pitching inside.

True, but Wieters rarely sets up inside. I think he's the one who's uncomfortable. And it's absolutely where Gausman should be locating. Setting up on the outer half allows hitters to extend, effectively negating his velocity.

That bases loaded debacle and Gausman just compounds it when he gets in any trouble. He is not a tough, mentally strong pitcher at all. He just collapses when anything goes wrong.
