Awful timing. Bats finally started doing something right after the decent stretch of starting pitching came to an end after the road trip. How discouraging to a team and now the offense will go back into hiding because they can't bail out awful pitching every single inning.

What are they going to do if theey put Tillman on the DL? Mike Wright? Ubaldo? Wilson? Not good options.

Is there any choice? I think this pretty clearly shows the desperation of this team sending Tillman out there pitching hurt and will probably get up around 70 pitches in three innings. He's walking guys, hitting guys, giving

up hard contact and is not fooling any of these hitters. Yet, he's out there because we have NOTHING else.

I agree with Ben. He's only missing by just a tad on these calls. Several could have gone either way. He is picking up velocity.
