Dan says about what I have been thinking except he guesses the O's go old with Pearce and Bourn and I guess the O's go young with Quinn and Blanco.

How do you go with Quinn exactly? Why are the rebuilding Phillies going to trade a young cost controlled center fielder?

Blanco is coming off a .620 season and will be 33. Why do we want him?

Edit: There are two Blancos who are free agents. Both are 33. Neither is very appealing, but I'm not sure which one you are referring to.

The Orioles aren't spending much and they are not going with the platoon fixes either.

How do you do both of these things simultaneously?

Platoon fixes seem to be the cheap way to go about this IMO. An everyday right fielder is going cost dinero.
