If Davis strikes out 300 times I don't care as long as they are swinging. You can't miss a ball and still hit it hard.  That was a nasty pitch though after two slurvy breaking pitches.

I'm watching on Gameday and that was one of the most embarrassing at bats I've seen. I could see taking a pith at 3-0, but how do you take a fastball in the middle of the plate on 3-1? That's literally the kind if at bat if I were manager he'd sit out next game. That's a joke and shows zero aptitude for hitting.

Well a six pitch at bat without actually trying to use the bat, is kinda of impressive....Babe Ruth could not have done it better.  Of course Babe has been dead 69 years. But he could have done NO better.

 

Of course on the flip side my grandma could have done just as well, and sadly she too is no longer with us.
