They going to wait to till the draft to promote some of these guys.  I'm excited about their progress, but they were college picks, time to send a few up to Frederick.  It might even make them contenders.

Struggling early tonight

Only threw three innings.   Allowed only one run but 2 hits and 3 walks, and threw 60 pitches.

And his third inning was only 7 pitches. Obviously struggled finding the strike zone coming off the layoff.

Looks like they want to build his innings back up since he missed two weeks. 

I bet he comes out in his next start throwing 5+ and looking dominant again.

I think it was more about his outing being shortened because of the stress of long innings.

His command was absolutely awful. I hope he wasn't still hurt because that was not the Zac Lowther we saw earlier in the year. Maybe the layoff hurt him a bit, but I'm hoping they just took him out because he couldn't locate at all.

Could still be dealing with the oblique. Those things can linger for a pitcher.
