An All New 'I Was Wrong' Thread

Be honest as to your Orioles player/manager/management views or predictions that have come back to prove you wrong.

I'll begin. Before the season, I was pretty sure that Cedric Mullins or Austin Hays would be our starting center-fielder no later than the All Star break. I Was Wrong.

Mullins has been so bad this year he was just demoted to AA Bowie. Hays has battled injuries and is rehabbing and hopes to get healthy and back to pushing for a promotion.
I still hold out hope that they'll be a productive part of our future... with Hays having the bigger upside.

What is your 'I Was Wrong'?

FWIW, here's the original thread, started at the All Star break in 2008!

I thought Cedric Mullins could hit .270 to .280 and hold down CF full time.

I thought Cashner would be terrible like last year. He is good enough that he'll be traded by July 31st. Very pleasant surprise.

I will gladly admit I was wrong about Cashner.

I proclaimed loudly that he was Gallardo 2.0.

I figured he would be close to out of baseball by the end of this year.

Cashner was trending that direction, but he turned it around.

I was wrong on Cobb too. I had low expectations for Cobb, but I didn't expect him to miss the season.

I thought I would be wrong about something, it turns out I was wrong about that.

Looks like we’ll all miss the perfection this guy brought.

I know I’m a little weepy.

Drew Jackson for me. Still scratching my head though.
