If we're being serious, I'd probably say it's Rule 4 draft day, but don't think for a SECOND the Rule 5 doesn't get their jollies off almost as much.

Which day?  I think Elias gets more excited about day three of the draft.

I am hoping that we are a year or two away from having enough prospects coming through that we start to worry who we will lose in the Rule V draft.

Exactly.     What are the odds that the 2nd worst team in baseball has unprotected prospects that are better than the guys left unprotected by many other teams?

But seriously, I like that Bailey has high Bauer Units. It's a "trust the system" kind of thing. Except "trusting the system" means believing in the validity of scientific analysis of existing players rather than solely tanking and getting high draft picks.
