I do expect the parties to avoid harming the golden goose somehow, but today's the first time it's occurred to me that if they don't, how would the 2021 draft order get made?   

I don't think there's ever been no season at all to go off.  #Kumar??

I would assume (hope) they'd just repeat this year's order. But you know about assuming...

They'd probably do a random draw and the Yankees and Red Sox would end up #1 and #2.
