So Adair didn’t work well with Arrieta. .  What about the other pitcher’s that responded?Those pitching staffs lacked starting pitching talent, but we’re tough as nails. Wonder why?

I'm not sure what that means or how you'd qualify it.  In any case I'd much rather have pitchers who're good than pitchers who could win an arm wrestling match with Sam Elliott.

KInda feels unfair to mention Bergesen like this and imply his flunking out of baseball was tied directly to Adair.  If I'm recalling correctly, injuries did him in far more than anything else.

But the rest of these guys went on to have some measure of improvement once Adair was out of the picture.  So yeah.
