I know the O's are not going to be splashy spenders this offseason.  I know we've been burned by free agent pitchers in the recent past (Ubaldo Jimenez, Alex Cobb, etc.). But take a look at this list. 

Who is one pitcher you think they should pursue and why?

Not responsive to the question, but I remember Tyler Chatwood was a hot commodity the last time he came up for free agency.    Lots of chatter here about whether the Orioles should go after him.   The Cubs signed him for 3/$38 mm.   He produced 1.2 rWAR in those three years.

Maybe someone good enough that they’re worth a major league deal but not quite good enough that we are one of only teams offering it. I’m looking at Ray, Chatwood, maybe even Archer type of guys. 
 

Unless of course we’re dreaming. Then why not Bauer?

Haha I was definitely one of the people wanting the O's to sign Chatwood back then.

Although I was also in favor of signing Cobb, and he's been worth about the same for us so far...

Chatwood- 3 years, 38 million, 1.2 rWAR

Cobb- 3 years, 42 million, 1.8 rWAR
