It would be nice to know we would take whatever savings we get and reinvest it into pitching,  but don't think that's going to happen based on how the season is going. Would imagine we get a couple of 18 year old international kids back who Perez liked a year or two ago.

I think the most we can hope for is they use some of the savings to resign Gary Thorne.

I can't imagine we get anything back other then the savings of shedding our second highest salary on payroll and getting us closer to the #1.

My guess is that the O's are paying part of his salary and will be getting back a 2019 college arm and a Moose special.
