Roster Move:   Orioles send Bruce Zimmerman to the minor league camp and call up righthanded pitcher Isaac Mattson.   

Weather:  54 degrees, 6% chance of rain.   I do not know whether the roof will be open or closed, although I will note that despite the reputation for rain in Seattle, the roof has been open for 78% of the games ever played at the ballpark formerly known as Safeco Field.   Another company has paid the Mariners to call it something else now, but they haven't given me a cent so I will not use their name.  I learned it as Safeco Field and will not waste brain cells learning a new name unless I receive monetary compensation.

How can you be a baseball fan and not know that they stopped using the Kingdome in 1999?

This isn't expert level stuff.

The Kingdome was a DOME, T-Mobile park has a retractable roof.  It also has a grass field.

    Hays moves from LF to RF, where Stewart had been
    Mountcastle moves from DH to LF
    Franco moves from 3B to DH
    Ruiz moves from 2B to 3B
    Valaika moves from bench to 2B
