Watching McKenna struggle in the majors, get sent down and go on a tear in the minors, and now come back up to the majors and look complete lost again makes me really temper excitement and expectations for the mior leaguers we have.

Well here I am after finishing my work, and ellis had a wonderful outing. However the guys who relieved  him, did not.

Seems pretty dumb to draw any conclusions from three at-bats against a guy who is going to get Cy Young Award votes this fall. Mancini looked just as lost against Robbie Ray today.

He hasn't thrown 85 pitches in a game since August 11th. Just isn't stretched out enough yet to be a real starter. Threw 38 pitches in his first start with the O's and 62 pitches in his 4 inning appearance against the O's. So 75-ish was probably his pitch limit tonight and he threw 69 pitches.

Oh, ok cool. Was just wondering. I was confused. I really wish Hyde would use Wells more. He's the best arm in the bullpen in my opinion.
