So the Rangers guys pointed out that the Orioles have the worst pitching in MLB and the Rangers have the worst hitting, and pointed out that Good pitching beats good Hitting, but wondered what happens when it’s the other way around?

Does terrible pitching beat terrible hitting? We’ll find out, they say.

Meanwhile, Lowther has a career high in strikeouts…in the second inning, hahaha.

I wonder if the Baltimore radio guys mentioned that?

The Pirates have the worst hitting team in MLB at 560 RS.  The Rangers are 2nd worst at 581.

One might argue that having a DH for about 145 games as opposed to only about 15 games is worth more than 21 runs.

It seems that the Rangers and Orioles are on pace to obliterate the MLB record for strikeouts in a 9-inning game, which is 35.

Maybe they mean average. Although the Rangers are scoring under 4 RPG and the Orioles are just over 4 RPG

Rangers do have the lowest OPS in MLB at .666. which is really bad because NL teams don’t have the benefit of the DH.

Yep, both were in Frederick the season Heim was traded.

Great play by Wynns.  The block alone was nice enough, but also nailing the runner at second was just tremendous.
