I’m guessing these deals will take some time because no way back channel conversations were happening with free agents. That would never occur!!

Keep in mind, a lot of negotiations were going on right up until the lockout deadline.  So, deals could have largely been in place before the lockout and just need to be finalized.

All the team negotiators are warmed up and limber, ready to go.  I expect it to be a quick process.

Here is my guess of what the O's will do:

1.  P Chris  Ellis to a AAA contract.  700K contract  if he is called up.

2.  3B/2B Josh Harrison to a AAA contract.  1M if he makes the team.   He can opt out if he doesn't.  He will compete for starting 3B and backup 2B.

3.  RP Collin McHugh  1/3.5m  

4.   SP  Greinke  1/15m with a 15 club option for 2023.

5.   C   ????

I doubt McHugh would be that cheap.

McHugh is 34 (will be 35 in June) and he has had injury problems.   That is why I put it at 3.5m
