When will the O's compete for the Playoffs?

Just curious when folks think the O's will be competitive for any playoff spot again. I'm saying 2025.

I also went with 2024 in an effort to be optimistic.

I think 2024.  This year we get a better idea of what we need to supplement with FA and perhaps see what surplus we have to trade and add a handful to double handful of wins by the youth impact.  Then use the 22-23 off-season to add to the gaps, some longer term possibilities, maybe a few stop gaps if needed in some positions if, say, a Mayo isn't quite ready.   Win 80-85 games with the maturing talent and additions,  then challenge for the playoffs in 24.  I think this is doable if things go well.

I'm not sure what the exact criteria was so I went with actually getting one of the 12 spots.

I think in any of the years listed a sub .500 team could "compete" for the sixth slot.

He's not making any of the decisions.

I don't see why you would blame or credit him for anything that has happened since the end of the 2018 season.

I don't think Peter is making any decisions with regards to the team.
