Really good to see. Glad we're not being held back financially in this area. Bummed we didn't get more of the players signed, but it seems like we picked a few over-slot options knowing we wouldn't get them all.

I care more about whether they spent money on the right players than whether they exceeded the cap.   

I’m not surprised they spent the money.  As Steve Cohen pointed out, and as Elias undoubtedly knows, draft investments are much more cost effective than FA investments.

And the Mets didn’t blow through their pool money as some were suggesting they would.  Another entertaining pre draft rumor.
