Realistically I could see Bassitt for the Orioles though would love either of the first two at that price.

I’m not a huge fan of that DeGrom contract. The human arm wasn’t made to throw 100 MPH 100 times per game. There’s a reason he’s hardly pitched the last 3 years.

Maybe Snydergaard but I doubt we are in on any too guys

Not a fan of paying any pitcher $30 or $40 million a year. That kind of money would be better spent on long term extensions for Henderson, Rutschman, and the like. We should be able to deal a handful of our expendable hot prospects for cheaper arms, rather than being high bidder on guys on the down side of thirty.

That’s why I was thinking Snydergaard. If you can get 1 or 2 years at 15 per it’s not really hateful

Agree, definitely at those prices.  Though I think Bassit's going to get a big price, maybe from the NYM after playing there.

Kershaw fits the profile of the Astros getting Verlander or Greinke.

Kershaw, Verlander, and deGrom are all obviously out for various reasons, but Syndergaard and Bassitt are realistic targets for the Orioles, I think.
