September 16th game against Jays on Apple TV+

I was just looking at the official O's schedule and noticed that this Friday's game at Rogers Centre will only be on Apple TV+ (not MASN). This will be the 2nd Apple TV+ O's game this year. The broadcasters for their first game (including Melanie Newman) were awful, so I don't think this is something for us to look forward to, especially for such a  crucial game in the standings.

If they win the game I don't really care who is announcing it.  I get many people don't like Melanie and some of the other announcers but there isn't much you can do about it.  Just turn the sound down or don't watch.

I was hoping this would coincide with season three of Ted Lasso, but looks like that's not happening.  I'll either follow along on MLB app, or pay $5 to re-up Apple plus just for this.  Probably the app...

Apple games are free. Don’t have to pay for them. I just downloaded the app on my tV. MLB games are free.

The announcing is awful but the production value is night and day better than MASN

Hopefully the announcers aren’t the same but their production is awesome. Loved watching it last time the visuals were great.

Apple TV+ Visual presentation of MLB: It's probably the best I've ever seen and by a decent margin too. 

Apple TV+ Audio presentation of MLB: It's the worst I've ever heard and the only way it could get worse is by adding Mike Boridick or F. P. Santangelo to the broadcast.

Jim Hunter would be a significant upgrade if he was hired to do play-by-play on Apple TV+.

Bordick or Santangelo would both be better than Cliff Floyd who was the color analyst for the previous Apple TV+ O's game. Floyd sounded like he was doing tha game in his sleep.

Floyd is the worst I’ve ever heard at this. But I think he only does the pregame now.

If they demoted him to just the pre-game, then I guess someone at Apple realized how bad he is.

Great news. Apparently the internet is out today. May have to be a radio day. 
 

I saw a bunch of complaining last night over the NFL game on Amazon. I didn’t have any issues when I watched it. That said streaming is not ready for a big chunk of the pie as a sole provider.
