Our sixth spot in the lineup hit for the cycle last night

Ramon Urias started last night in the six-hole and had a single, a triple and a homer.   Jorge Mateo replaced him due to injury and had a double his first time up.   So, the sixth spot hit for the cycle!

It’s a shame Urias didn’t get the chance to go for the cycle on his own.  I’m guessing that injury will end his season, but I hope it doesn’t.

This is a cool stat.  And I'm assuming that the amount of times a spot in the lineup hit for the cycle is pretty low.

Higher than the amount of times a player has hit for the cycle.

My guess is, there’s no way to look that one up.

Not by much, I’d guess.  But we know it’s at least one higher.
